Executive Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative services and/ or management assistance at local country, and global business line level within Robotics and Discrete Automation in Atlanta, Georgia.

This position reports to

Global BL managing director

Your responsibilities

  • Perform complex administrative activities and takes responsibility for delivering specific department processes/ programs
  • Research, compile and issue special reports, presentations, organization charts, correspondence, etc. and other documents as requested
  • Responsible for different communication tasks within the area of responsibility, ensuring knowledge and information is shared and keeping others up to date
  • Implement ABB process and initiate continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Act as point of contact for internal/ external enquiries by phone and email, initiates action and makes judgments about urgency of issues. Provide confidential support to individual executives and/ or management team members
  • Arranges business critical internal/ external events, including for example travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodation, conference registration, visiting speakers etc.
  • Provide financial support on a department/ project level, monitoring budget spend, raising and approving requisitions/ invoices, etc.

Your background

  • High School diploma with minimum 6 years of relevant experience (Bachelors is preferred)
  • Broad knowledge of business processes and prior work supporting complex organizations, including global and remote teams
  • Excellent level knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Office 365)
  • Support internal teams including correspondence globally within the business and externally with customers as needed
  • Able to execute complex tasks with minimal supervision. Able to work with senior level business managers and global stakeholders
  • High level communication skills, including proactive work style
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
