This associate helps to identify and resolve process and associate issues that result in inventory discrepancies.

This is a hands-on position that assists the Leadership team with managing labor, supporting and guiding the work flow and processes, training/cross-training new and tenured associates in all functions required.

They help to provide continuous improvement ideas and implementation of new processes to team members to ensure consistency and understanding.**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**+ Trains associates on power equipment of all kinds, remaining in compliance with all Luxottica safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.

This includes classroom training, on the floor practical equipment training, and all documentation and tracking of these materials.+ Assists with training current and new DC associates on process changes, system updates etc.+ Coordinates with internal business partners to communicate and develop action plans for positive results in all processing areas.+ Understands product/data flow through the entire AFA process (i.e.

Receiving unload, Receiving, Putaway, Letdown, Picking, Staging, and Shipping processes)+ Identifies, diagnoses, documents, and resolves associate/process/software issues – understanding the root cause and steps to correction+ Communicates internally and externally, via in person, phone, and email with support, associates, leadership, etc.+ Performs visual audits of associates following SOP’s for accuracy and consistency+ Completes projects and tasks as assigned by Leadership Team+ Maintains clean and safe work environment+ Assists Supervisors and/or Assistant Supervisors when necessary+ Participates in/or conduct departmental meetings with the absence of the Assistant Supervisor+ Makes recommendations for improving the processes and procedures+ Demonstrates proficiency in all functions within their direct area of responsibility+ Leads by example and is a positive role model for other associates and display enthusiastic behavior**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent+ 2+ Years related experience+ Excellent mathematical aptitude/numerical recognition+ Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills+ Ability to effectively communicate with both associates and leadership+ Strong organizational skills+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision+ Technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot+ Ability to learn and maintain Warehouse Management software training+ Knowledge of SAP+ Knowledge of PC’s and working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Outlook+ Ability to use material handling equipment (pallet jacks, ladders, cart, etc) and lift/carry supplies up to 40 lbs+ Ability to work in a standing/walking position for up to 12 hours+ Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as requested by Supervisors and Manager+ Ability to maintain confidentiallyUpon request and consistent with applicable laws, Luxottica will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities who need assistance in the application and hiring process.
