Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program. Lockheed Martin Kings Bay assembles and tests the Trident II D5 Missile. The Trident II D5 missile is carried aboard the Ohio Class Submarines and is the major contributor to the United States Strategic Deterrent force. This position is in the support equipment Engineering group at the Missile Integrated Support Facility (MISF) at SWFLANT. MISF is the primary assembly and test location for the flight electronics packages used on FBM program. This position will provide engineering services maintaining the Special Test Equipment (STE) used during the verification and acceptance testing of electronics packages. The position is an Engineering Position who will be working with more Sr. Engineers. Job duties will include:
• Assisting more senior engineers in the troubleshooting and failure analysis of anomalies detected during missile electronics testing.
• Circuit analysis skills required to perform failure analysis to root cause.
• Performs analysis of test results and coordinates repair of STE.
• Develops and directs preparation and implementation of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
• Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics
• Understanding of analog and digital circuit design
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, using specialized features. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment including working with hourly employees
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Security clearance

• Experience with computer operating systems such as Windows, Unix and Linux
• Experience and understanding of software languages such as MATLAB, C and C++
• System performance monitoring and evaluation experience
• Accuracy and attention to detail skills. Must be self-motivated

• Demonstrated troubleshooting experience
• Coursework in digital electronics (design, circuit analysis, etc.)
