Job Responsibilities: Lead PEO Underwriting Center of Excellence Manage workflow and capacity, including review of historical activity and forecasting Manage turnaround time SLAs Manage on-shore and off-shore teams supporting the underwriting process Participate in ongoing meetings with clients and carriers Manage carrier review of quotes that require carrier approval Assist with escalation process and review, including larger prospects with experience Leverage cloud-based underwriting tools, Excel templates, and Smartsheet reporting Assist with underwriting-related projects outside of quote production, including: Rating template updates Segmentation studies (red/yellow/green) Actuarial value studies Cloud-based underwriting tool enhancement recommendations Periodic assessment of the PEO population risk profile based on commonly used rating factors and subsequent calibration of entry underwriting benchmarks Benchmarking of plan designs and premiums Overall underwriting strategy evolution in collaboration with internal teams and carriers: Business rules Parity requirements Best practices Incorporation of new predictive modeling capabilities You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: Health and welfare consulting or related experience: 7+ years of industry experience Small group and/or PEO pricing experience a plus Project/client/financial management experience Broad business knowledge/perspective Business development experience, including competitor and market knowledge, a plus Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience We offer you A competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000 annually.

This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans.

The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
