RemX: Outbound Medical Call Rep

Job DescriptionThe Outbound Medical Call Rep assists health plans in the review and/or auditing of medical record data. The Outbound Medical Call Rep will effectively schedule appointments to retrieve missing documentation from medical records that have been identified as missing by a Clinical Abstractor. This position works in a highly focused, demanding and timeline-driven environment. The successful candidate will have experience building relationships, overcoming objections and negotiating timelines to return appropriate documentation with Providers offices within specified timelines and goals. * High School Diploma or GED. * 1 year of experience working in a hospital, physician office or other setting in which medical terminology knowledge was needed. * At least 1 year of outbound call experience or sales background Hours are 9am-5:30pm Monday-Friday Start Date: March This is a remote opportunity, but you must live in the Atlanta area. Must have a computer and modem. * High School Diploma or GED. * 1 year of experience working in a hospital, physician office or other setting in which medical terminology knowledge was needed. * At least 1 year of outbound call experience or sales background
