NGHS also encompasses Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, a multi-specialty group with more than 65 locations, and The Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, a cardiology practice with more than 15 locations.NGHSRetail Pharmacy TechPRN – VARIESOutpatient PharmacyThe position is located at our Braselton CampusUnder the direct supervision of a pharmacist, provides efficient coordination of filling and dispensing of out patient pharmacy prescriptions and aids in the daily operation of the department. This position will care for patients in the child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines.Licensure or other certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred; Current registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy required.Educational Requirements: High School Diploma; or GED; 17 years of age or olderMinimum Experience: At least one year’s experience retail or hospital pharmacy setting is required.Since first opening its doors in Gainesville in 1951, Northeast Georgia Medical Center has added hospital campuses in Braselton, Barrow and Dahlonega – and become Georgia’s most awarded hospital.
