Sr. Director of Software Development

Senior Director of Development Expert Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for a Senior Director of Development with an industry leading client in Stone Mountain.

This is a Permanent opportunity that offers excellent pay and benefits.You will be a thought leader for: Site integrations/client interface from a technical standpoint (specifically large ecomm client sites), Site analytics, API – (development, troubleshooting, and analytics), and ADA programming.

Responsibilities: ÂÂ
·Use best practices to develop clustered, reliable, scalable, and high-performance APIs and integration solutionsÂÂ
·Deliver a high availability (“always on”) experience, Superior performance of IT services and solutionsÂÂ
·Show an established expertise in developer tools or software development lifecycle (SDLC) systems (continuous integration, version control, source code repositories, build systems, package management, deployment tools, test frameworks, etc.)ÂÂ
·Display knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsÂÂ
·Prepare work estimation and proposal documentationÂÂ
·Lead an agile environment and participate in daily stand-ups/ScrumÂÂ
·Learn new technologies and stay ahead of industry standards, best practices, and trends Desired Skills and Experience: ÂÂ
·Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar degreeÂÂ
·10+ years of software development experience, ideally in a SaaS based environmentÂÂ
·6+ years of software development management experienceÂÂ
·Microsoft full stack experience including MVC, Web APIs, C#, SQL Server, Visual Studio, REST and the .NET FrameworkÂÂ
·Familiar with cloud-based development platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, and the Google Cloud PlatformÂÂ
·Proficient in managing software development projects using modern Application Lifecycle Management methodologies such as Agile and DevSecOpsÂÂ
·Expert in software version control systems, especially GIT (local & cloud)ÂÂ
·Familiar with networking architecturesÂÂ
·Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsSDL2017
