In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across the Digital organization to research and design best-in-class experiences across multiple channels and platforms, including web, mobile web, and mobile app.

The ideal candidate will have significant work history orchestrating and conducting a wide range of usability and user research methodologies across omni-channel experiences.

Research responsibilities:
• Oversee design and administration of usability studies on a wide range of websites and mobile apps
• Provide coaching, training and feedback for UX designers assigned to agile product teams across the Digital organization to plan and execute their own remote-unmoderated and moderated studies leveraging the platform
• Attend intake meetings with a variety of stakeholders and help guide discussions surrounding appropriate UX research methods to achieve business and design goals.

• Present findings with actionable recommendations to a variety of internal stakeholders.

• Oversee all phases of usability test preparation including screening criteria and test script development
• Identify and implement a variety of methods for getting input and feedback from customers including remote-unmoderated and moderated studies, and others as appropriate.

• Partner with other internal research functions (e.g.

Marketing Research) to identify appropriate mix of research methods to determine future directions for our websites and mobile apps.

• Partner with UX managers and UX directors on executing research within accelerated project timelines and agile development cycles.

• Help maintain and grow knowledge repository
• We expect our UX researchers to have an appetite for inclusion and at a minimum have familiarity with and working knowledge of accessibility Required Qualifications:
• 2-5 years’ experience in Usability, User Experience Research and/or related fields is the target range for experience, we are not really looking at people with significantly more than 5 years experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Usability, Human Factors, HCI, Psychology or additionally relevant field
• Master’s Degree Preferred Job Requirements: Design and implement research studies Conducting research studies with animal models of human disease Submit patents based on research Work at a research scientist level performing independent and group project activities Participating in a laboratory environment for research and development programs Conduct online research of the scientific literature Supplied efficacy data through internal field-specific research Identify new research project opportunities and present proposals for new research to management Direct and execute scientific research and development strategies through a combination of individual studies and team research Assist in the development of research plans Provide administrative oversight of all basic research personnel involved in research projects Organize and execute experiments and research Apply diversified knowledge of scientific research principles, practices, and protocols in research projects Develop a research investigation plan and conduct research related to projects and project teams Conducting reagent research, data analysis and reagent process development studies to support new immunoassay development Mastering various molecular and cell biology techniques Develop new technologies or assays and participate in research activities Participate in Hospital committees both research and non-research Assign and supervise work to research technicians as required for research projects Determine the direction of research efforts by reviewing data from previous research and external research papers to identify problem areas
