We are an energetic, fast paced company looking for someone who will operate with integrity, energy and a passion for being the best.SUMMARYTo move storage shipments to assigned areas within the warehouse and stores in proper storage units utilizing a forklift. Is responsible for the accurate documentation of warehouse records including storage logs and inventories. Unloads/loads shipments and exception shipments into storage. Monitors supply of packing materials. Responsible to lead up to 5 people. Is fully capable of completing the essential functions of a Warehouse Services II.RESPONSIBILITIES* Provides general direction and supervision of drivers and vendors. Responsible for training entry-level positions. Leads up to five (5) people. Utilizing a forklift, locates and places palletized goods on pallet racking located in the warehouse. All forklift operations will be in adherence to Graebel operating standards. Uses the warehouse locator system to appropriately record the location of items.* Compares shipment inventory listing/packing list to actual shipment items and inspects for shortages and/or damages. Will verify items against storage inventory documentation prior to release to driver(s); Will physically inspect, and verify if damage has been noted on inventory lists. Will enter any and all damage into exception report* Responsible for labeling and recordings the location of assets in the warehouse and updates records. Collects bar scanning information for commercial warehouse items to include scanning asset tag numbers, location and catalog. Provides supervisor will data collection sheets on a daily basis for updating the catalogs in the database* Is responsible for the following instructions of all paperwork functions in the warehouse including Put-away sheets, vault cards and pull sheets. Inspects vaults for damage to ensure necessary reports; moves vaults from vault loading area into storage, placing vaults in assigned areas on the warehouse floor. Maintains the warehouse and equipment in regard to cleanliness, neatness, safety and security.* Takes exception shipments into storage from other drivers/branches; thoroughly inspects exception shipments to properly identify items to be stores; Accurately completes “Exception Report” with any discrepancies of item condition(s).* Daily communications with Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager and Dispatch for warehouse needs, labor resources and equipment needs.* Qualified and able to drive Graebel equipment as required – including Non-CDL straight truck/cube van, and CDL tractor trailers.* Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This will include the ability to transfer skills and work in a similar position in the role of Commercial Mover II & Household Goods Mover II, as work dictates.RequirementsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCES* Good verbal and written communication skills which can be gained with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience* Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience in material handling/forklift operation. Must be able to run compactor.
