Job Description Logistic & Warehouse Specialist The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for making sure we meet our client’s deadlines by efficiently inbounding IT equipment into our Asset Tracking software and working with the IT Production Manager to prepare equipment for testing by our technicians.

They will also prepare orders going out utilizing FedEx, UPS, and freight forwarders to make sure we meet the dock dates set by our clients in the USA and Overseas.

Primary Responsibilities Receives equipment coming into the building by vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly Unloading of trucks with manual pallet jack and forklift Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing list To accurately place materials on shelves, in racks, or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner Adherence to all compliance-related subjects as they relate to the job tasks with regards to Environmental, Health, and Safety Organizational and time-management skills Enter receiving data into our asset tracking system Pull items using picklist and allocate to sales order Review orders to ensure accuracy Morning meetings to discuss open orders Clean and pack items with care and efficiency to help reduce item damage and shipping costs.

Prepare and ship small package orders Print shipping labels using UPS and FEDEX and work with Freight Forwarders Performs detailed inspections of outgoing product Prepare and ship large palletized orders Boxes equipment for shipping Assist in inventory control Adhere to all safety policies and processes Maintain general warehouse cleaning Report all discrepancies Meet, maintain, and exceed daily production goals Other duties as assigned Preferred Skills: Requires physical labor and must be able to lift boxes and able to be on your feet a good part of the day Experience with data entry and barcode scanners Knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook Ability to Get Things Done Cooperation, Planning and Organizing Ability to lift 50lbs daily Education: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent Transportation: Must have reliable transportation XSi’s Core Values Ingenuity – We’re respected for the tenacity of the custom solutions created by the team.
