Duties include but are not limited to data entry, file creation and management, reception, licensing appointments, creation, and posting of social media content, and project-based work.

Projecting a customer-focused and professional image through in-person and telephone interaction with all internal and external customers is essential.nn nEssential Duties and Responsibilitiesn Provides information and publications about licensing, re-licensing, license cancellation, and other occupancy issues to callers and on-site visitors.

Maintains basic office equipment including requesting supplies, arranging for service, and assists users with the equipment.

Answers account questions from residents.

Creates and distributes communication with residents and applicants throughout the year.

Assists with all room assignments, move-in, and move-out procedures.

Track all lockouts and process charges for all lock changes and lost keys.

Enters all new resident information into spreadsheets and databases as required.

Assists in the creation and implementation of the re-licensing process.

Process reservation fees Assist in coordination with Enrollment Management for admitted students Conducts licensing and relicensing appointments.

Assists with resident mailings such as move-in letters, re-licensing confirmations, and move out letters.

Creates and maintains new resident files with attention to accuracy and accountability.

Processing license cancellations including data entry, tracking, and moving files.

Assists with all licensing events including info sessions, Welcome Days, and Open Houses.

Assists with all marketing efforts which may include the Resident Appreciation Week, Market Survey, Marketing Plan, and other campus events.

Manage and provide content for social media accounts Perform key management for all resident mailboxes Assist in summer conference damage billing as necessary.

Assist in ordering and auditing summer conference supplies (linens, toilet paper, etc).

Assist with room assignments, check-in, and check-out of conferences.

Other duties as assigned.

nn Supervisory Responsibilities: nShared supervisor of Summer Conference Assistants (SCAs) during summer housing.nn nn Work Environment: nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The work environment is mid to high paced.

The ability to work overtime during key operational times is necessary.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.nn nn Education/Experience Required: nHigh school diploma/GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred; two to three years’ experience in housing.

nn nn Skills Required: n Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

All must be accomplished in English.nn nn Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.nn nn Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.nn nn Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.nn nn Other Skills and Abilities – Ability to operate basic office equipment including photocopier, fax, and telephone.
