Field Service Technician III

Calgon Carbon | A Kuraray Company currently has an opportunity where you can be a part of our growing team as we provide our customers outstanding products that make the air we breathe and the water we use safe for generations to come.Position: Field ServiceTechnician IIILocation: Valdosta, GASummary:Direct implementation of customer required on-site field services related to CCC activated carbon product, equipment, and service offerings.

Part of CCC’s customer support and service value proposition by contractual obligation.Key Responsibilities: Perform minor maintenance on Calgon Carbon equipmentPerforming carbon exchanges at customer sitesSafety awareness and accident prevention with the goal of zero incidents including reporting near misses with root cause analysis.Fully comply with CCC, customer, regional, and federal safety requirements.Prepare job hazard analyses with guidance.Establish & maintain customer relationships and satisfaction in order to grow customer loyalty and increase the value of CCC field services to the customer.Proactively communicate sales opportunities, customer dissatisfaction, or competitive intelligence information using Service Work Order database.Carbon adsorber installation and removal with guidance.Carbon adsorber maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting with guidance.Carbon adsorber start-up and customer training on proper use through O manual with guidance.Carbon and other media installation and removal with guidance.Contractor supervision with guidance.Record keeping
– Accurately complete project reports, expense reports and time sheetsConfirm customer visits as assigned by regional manager, schedule resources, and implement project activities using FSWO database and work process with guidance.Documentation of on-site daily activities using Field Service Work Order database and work process with guidance.

Rudimentary knowledge of CCC products, service lines, and applications.Ability to communicate and look for other carbon and media exchanges or other site service opportunities with customers.

Required Skills / Experience: High school diploma, technical trade certificate, or equivalent experience.Confined Space Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data)Driver’s License (Class A preferable)HAZWOPER 40-Hour Certification (Candidate must successfully complete training within 3 month of hire data)Transportation Worker Identification Credential (Candidate must successfully obtain within 3 month of hire data)Preferred experience: Automotive engine maintenance and repair, Industrial Vacuum Operation and Work at Industrial Facility70% travel required including weekends and holidays as required Benefits Medical, dental, prescription, vision and retirement savings (401k) Calgon Carbon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.Minorities/Females/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected VeteransVEVRRA Federal Contractor
