I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionAbout the role:As the Quality Control Technician, you will execute Quality Control Compliance team activities to ensure the safety and reliability of Takeda products comply with quality and regulatory requirements.How you will contribute:Prepare and revise documentation that supports proper functioning of lab operations (SOPs, investigation memos, technical documents) Follow continuous improvement practices (QLP, 5S, LEAN) Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP regulations. Participate in functional efforts involving teams, which impact production, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, and improve quality. Support internal and external laboratory audit readiness efforts. Organize data and prepare appropriate documentation, including presentation materials, for assigned projects. Execute investigations and complete non-conformance events (Deviation, OOL, OOS) timely to meet product fulfillment dates. Collaborate with other Quality, Manufacturing, and support departments to perform RCA and identify appropriate CAPAs. Support problem solving sessions through application of multiple tools and methods. Support Contamination Control Program (CCP) initiatives to mitigate/prevent risk to product. Conduct investigative audits of manufacturing areas or personnel Perform investigative sampling of manufacturing areas Ensure communication of issues Able to identify when proper practices / procedures are not performed Work with cross-functional teams and management on recommended course of action. Execute changes and corrections You position may be a support function to manufacturing operations and is required to coordinate testing activities and communication of results with IG, Fractionation, and Albumin. You will also work with other support functions such as QA, Engineering and Maintenance. You may participate in interdepartmental teams and work with different levels of personnel including management and site leadership.What you bring to Takeda:Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or other related technical field. Bachelors’ Degree in Chemistry or Biological Science is preferred. 2+ years of related experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required. Knowledgeable of laboratory tests / equipment including the use of statistical method. Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures. Understanding of manufacturing and facility processes. Demonstrate technical writing skills (investigation reports able to seek and identify solutions. Demonstrate effectiveness in supporting continuous improvement and promoting the control and prevention of potential issues. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas. This position requires a combination of sedentary work, standing work, and walking around observing conditions in the facility. May lift, push, pull and carry up to approximately 25 lbs. Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment. Work in a cold, wet environment. May be required to work in a confined area. Primarily inside working conditions. Some clean room and cool/hot storage conditions. Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
