Application Engineer (SolidWorks)


This is a Contract position in Atlanta, GA posted August 29, 2021.

Overall Summary TriMech is a leading provider of engineering software & hardware offerings including SOLIDWORKS (SW), PDM/PLM Solutions and Stratasys Printers.

The Client Success Engineer will provide comprehensive services to engineering, manufacturing, and product design clients to ensure they are successfully leveraging products purchased from TriMech.

Primary and Essential Accountabilities: Assist clients in applying and troubleshooting SOLIDWORKS tools in their design/development, analysis, and manufacturing tasks Ensure customers are successfully engaged and utilizing SOLIDWORKS and related products through telephone, web, email, and onsite communication Exercise of problem-solving skills and processes to assist our clients Determining and setting priority levels on customer issues to ensure timely and effective responses
· Obtaining relevant certifications in SolidWorks, and related products Developing and writing articles for company newsletter, generating additional technical content including videos, blog posts and white papers, and determining or preparing documentation for technical skills for new SolidWorks releases Extensive use of Oracle NetSuite and the SolidWorks VRC Limited travel only required for visiting clients on occasion to provide additional or escalated on-site support Qualifications :
· Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
· Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as outstanding interpersonal and judgement skills
· Forward-thinking troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities
· Familiarity with various drafting standards and engineering practices
· Understanding of vast manufacturing terminology and processes
· Requires understanding of Microsoft Windows, PC hardware, and computer networking, as well as MCAD and/or solid modeling software
· Work both independently and as part of a team is essential
· Communicate directly with customers
