Job Description:
Cash application (AR) position

-High volume
-A lot of keying and repetition
-1-2+ years cash application in accounts receivables required
-1-2+ years ERP experience required

The Cash Applications Associate will receive funds from customers and employees, disburse funds, and record monetary transactions in business establishment or place of public accommodation by performing the following duties.

• Apply payments received in our Lockbox to customer accounts accurately and timely
• Resolve daily exception items not auto applied by our system
• Apply ACH and wire payments received on the bank statement
• Build and upload daily payment application ASN
• Communicate unresolved customer remittance issues to the Credit and Collections department
• Work with department databases and portals
• Process returned check items and credit card chargeback
• Balance daily application with deposits
• Assist department to meet month end close requirements
• Assist department in resolving month end reconciling items
• Operates office machines such as ERP System, personal computer and calculator
• ERP system being used is Infor SX.e

• 1-2+ years applicable work experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, and ERP systems required
• Average Ten Key speed of 8,000 KPH or higher
• Basic level MS Excel – experience with vlookups, pivot tables preferred
• Any familiarity with Infor SX.e would be helpful
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong analytical skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
