What we are looking for:

We are now hiring a Postpress Service Support associate for the US. This role requires minimum 3 years’ experience in printing (Stahlfolder or folding machine) as a specialist role in a help desk function or open to operational/service on equipment. Others with similar experience will be reviewed but candidates with experience in Stahlfolders are strongly sought out.

Location: Kennesaw, GA

This is not an IT geared role; we are looking for experience in Stahlfolder and folding equipment as it relates to Postpress equipment.

Ideal Candidates: Current similar role or operators/service technicians with recent background working on Stahlfolder equipment.

What you will do:

The Postpress Service Support associate is providing technical clarification to reduce downtime / unplanned downtime for our Sheetfed customer base. A Postpress Service Support provides Mechanical, Electrical and Operational Support for end-users as well as field service technicians. This position is embedded in the Global Solution Center Americas.

  • Provide technical support to reduce downtime for our installed customer base.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot failures on customer equipment, via telephone, Remote Service, or e-mail.
  • Monitor the notification queue, ensure that new notifications are taken over within the given SLA timeframe
  • Provide detailed problem descriptions in notifications
  • Provide detailed solution / repair / troubleshooting steps and documentation to the Field Service Representatives for all onsite service calls
  • Able to perform basic log file analysis (example, GFC Viewer, Error handler). Diagnostic Tools
  • Maintain Product knowledge

What you need:

  • 5+ years of recent experience as Postpress Technical Specialist on Stahlfolder or experience as an operator/ service technician on this equipment
  • Computer/tech savvy and customer service skills
  • Remote help experience
  • Availability to work Overtime and Weekends as needed

Pay Range: 30.00 -35.00 per hour

Our compensation structure is based on market, skills, and experience along with other key factors. Please note candidates will be evaluated on these factors to determine actual pay. Total compensation can be larger when factored in with benefits, bonuses, or commissions if applicable.
