REMOTE OPPORTUNITY Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a long-term engagement at one of our Global Medical Device clients in Cornelia, GA .

This role is a full-time, fully benefitted position.

nn nnAs an Quality Engineer placed with KellyOCG you will be responsibility includes roles in compliance, supplier quality, complaint management, plant support, quality science, and lifecycle.

Quality Engineers may be responsible for: New Product Team Support for quality system design and audit; Lifecycle support of steady state manufacturing processes, change control, signal detection/escalation, and CAPA; Conducting audits to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and any other applicable standards and providing compliance assessment and statusnn nn Position Responsibilities nn Provide timely business support for the assigned Source Quality Management (SQM) function globally.

Lead, develop, and implement supplier/purchasing controls and associated activities including Approved Supplier List management.

Participate in and/or support the identification, selection, qualification, monitoring, and disengagement of suppliers for Source Quality Management.

May lead this process under the guidance of Source Quality Manager and/or management representative.

Own, drive, and lead the assigned Source Quality related projects, activities, initiatives with limited supervision.

Utilize Project Management methodologies to plan, organize, connect, shape, lead, and deliver results for SQM projects.

Prepare Supplier Quality Agreements and drives discussion with supplier while consulting Source Quality Manager and/or management representative.

Lead/ support component qualification change projects in collaboration with key business partners and the supplier’s applicable functional groups.

– maintain ongoing learning of industry, regulations Knowledge of: Regulatory compliance knowledge: GMP, MDD (Medical Device Directive), 510K (Pre-market Notification), ISO 13485 Government, trade association, industry, and medical publications Statistics Product knowledge Gage repeatability and reproducibility theory and application Risk Management (ISO 14971) nn Required Qualifications nn Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate Engineering discipline or other appropriate Technical degree.

3-5 years’ experience in Engineering role with majority in Supplier related duties.

Prefer Medical Device industry experience but will consider other regulated industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics.
