Revenue Analyst

We are a leading technology company with an immediate need for a Revenue Analyst . This is a direct hire, permanent job that is eligible for remote work and can be based anywhere in the United States. We are seeking candidates who can work in an interactive, team environment. We have multiple openings for Revenue Analysts due to growth within the company.

In this role, you will be a key member of our global Revenue Operations group. You will work with global, cross-functional teams and have an end-to-end view on revenue analysis. Our group supports global revenue reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze and review transactions to ensure they are in line with ASC 606 and to ensure they are accurately recorded in our revenue and ERP systems.
  • Work with global, cross-functional teams for forecasting and analyzing global revenue
  • Prepare analyses of work papers and research technical accounting published materials to make recommendations on applying accounting policies, particularly regarding intellectual property around software or Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Prepare detailed forecasts and reports using big data and workflow tools such as Alteryx
  • Participate in month-end and quarterly reporting.


Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years relevant experience.
  • Previous Big 4/Big 6 Public Accounting  experience.  
  • Experience preparing detailed financial forecasts including monthly and quarterly forecasts and associated reporting including  quarterly earnings schedules. 
  • Strong data analysis tools and experience with automated workflow tools such as Alteryx
  • Experience working  with large financial  data sets including data cleansing and analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of ASC 606
