What we are looking for:

The role of the Inventory Control Specialist is to assist in warehouse and office support of Heidelberg Press, Post Press, Prepress and/or Small Press Equipment. This will be a hybrid role. 1/3 of the day in the warehouse, and 2/3 of the time problem solving/ investigating issues.

Customer Service is the cornerstone of our business, and the Inventory Control Specialist is expected to deliver personalized, consistent, competent, and proactive service support; the Inventory Control Specialist must always exhibit professionalism.

Ideal Candidates: Applicant with Inventory & Warehouse troubleshooting/problem solving. Researching issues.

• Process inbound/Outbound returns in warehouse
• Notify CSR of discrepancies in return paperwork
• Load and unload containers when needed
• Ensure warehouse aisles and workstations are kept clean and orderly
• Inventory control to include process adjustments as needed to maintain balanced spare parts inventories per request received from inventory management
• Create PO’s for Spare Parts departments in USA and CAN and proficient with shipment documents to include Customs compliance
• File claims with vendors and follow up daily
• Maintain logs, data, and spreadsheets up to date daily
• Work with U.S Customs to assist in providing HTS, COO, FCC and/or FDA paperwork to clear incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensure documentation is filled in accordance with US Customs laws and C-TPAT compliance
• Works with Parts, Service, Accounts Payable, Warehouse and Logistics
• Research and investigate any problems that may arise

What you need:

• SAP experience required
• 3 + years in Inventory control/warehousing roles
• Excel intermediate level, superuser preferred
• Ability to work in hybrid model (warehouse/office environment)
• Customs experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of computers (Windows and Mac OS) and networking
• Self-starter and able to take on difficult problems and work them through to resolution
• A comfortable and confident speaker able to communicate effectively to a wide audience from all levels within and outside the organization
• Able to manage multiple high-priority action items

Location: Kennesaw, GA

Pay Range: 45 K – 50 k

Our compensation structure is based on market, skills, and experience along with other key factors. Please note candidates will be evaluated on these factors to determine actual pay. Total compensation can be larger when factored in with benefits, bonuses, or commissions if applicable.
