Job Details

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our boutique CPA firm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of tax experience with a focus on tax ( Federal & State tax regulation)s and have public accounting experience. Looking for an associate that can take on complex clients and grow into a leadership role. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with Federal & State tax laws and regulations
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Communicate with clients and tax authorities regarding tax issues and concerns
• Supervise and mentor tax associates
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Participate in business development activities to expand the company’s client base
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification prefer
• Minimum of 5-7 years of Finance and Accounting experience (Public/Private)
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including Federal & State tax
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
