– Open to Remote Workn n Schedule: Full Time Exemptn n Attach Resume upon applying n nThe Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the organization, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization.n n Minimum Qualifications: n Must have the ability to work in the United States Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or another industry-related field required; MBA preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of industry-related experience including three years in upper management required.

Excellent customer service skills, plus strong verbal and written communication skills are required.n Required Skills/Abilities: n Strong knowledge of Contract Management including:n Provide support to senior management regarding contractual and business issues.

Provide strategic leadership to develop innovative contracting solutions to meet program and business area objectives.

Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Summarize contract issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks, and formulate recommendations.

Act as the primary interface with partners during the proposal phase, negotiations, and contract performance.

Desired knowledge of federal contracting as it relates to the operations of the companyn Understanding the federal contract process and knowledge of the FAR requirements Participate in the overall solicitation response process including understanding the detailed requirements.

Strong knowledge of the Department of Labor requirements related to the Service Contract Act (SCA) Strong knowledge of federal contract pricing strategies and estimating.

Extensive project management skills especially related to federal contracting.

Knowledge of Deltek Systems preferred.n Supervisory/Overall Responsibilities:n Responsible for the following areas of the business operations: Finance and Accounting Human Resources Information Technology Contract and Pricing Management Project Management Office Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff in the departments.

Oversees the daily workflow of the departments.n Responsibilities:n Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division.

Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.

Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.

Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.

Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.

Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.

Establishes and administers the department’s budget.

Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.

Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.

Negotiates sound business deals with partners service providers and provides governance to the program team carrying out the terms and scope of the contract.

Works well as a member of the cross-business team (CBT), and fosters teamwork with both external and internal customers.

Handles several assignments concurrently while maintaining schedule deadlines.

Acts as a key player in solving problems, developing solutions, and assisting the business to achieve financial and performance goals and objectives.

Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
