We have an ambition to deploy that data into business intelligence, marketing, risk management and product management activities.

The VP of Product Analytics is a key role for in making this ambition come to life.

This individual will report into the Group CPO and be responsible delivering a variety of analytics-related tools, products and experiences. 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners engaged in the delivery of a variety of Data and Analytics-related tools, products and experiences
  • Build and manage a roadmap of Data and Analytics use cases including data consolidation, reporting, dashboards and predictive analytics use cases.

    Ensure that these products and services are built in line with industry practices appropriate for a big data environment

  • Own the articulation and delivery of internal BI, FP&A tools and dashboard as well as customer-facing analytics products
  • Support product managers who are deploying analytics into Risk, Compliance, Marketing, Operations and Sales use cases
  • Drive build vs.

    buy vs.

    partner decisions in the deployment of specific use cases

  • Own the delivery of commitments, working closely with development, operations and business readiness functions
  • Act as an evangelist, consultant and champion of analytics practices across finance, marketing, product, customer service and operations
  • Stay current on trends, technological developments and competitor activity to ensure the company has a finger on the pulse of the industry
  • Rely on influence and not on position power.

    You’ll collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams to drive your product vision and align them to it.

  • Establish a product development and management methodology that is consistent with the accepted norms for the group as a whole

What you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years working in a similar leadership role; payments or FinTech industry experience is preferred
  • At least 8 years of leadership/people management experience successfully motivating and leading teams to deliver a consistently high standard of work and to deadlines
  • Have demonstrated success in managing a large and diverse portfolio of products across the product management cycle from new product introduction to product retirement and sunsetting
  • Deep experience in big data environments including Vertica, Elastic data stores, AWS stack
  • Ability to structure solutions to business problems, create hypothesis for data analysis and test them
  • Strong understanding of the financial services ecosystem and payments in particular along with the regulations and compliance demands associated with the provision of payments services
  • Ability to represent the needs of diverse users, internal to the company and externally, and to funnel those needs into effective product design choices
  • Prior experience working in a global company and driving transformation via a global roadmap
  • Experience working in a diverse, multicultural and global company is an added advantage
  • You’re comfortable communicating with business stakeholders, Engineering, Design/UX and Analytics teams – verbal and written communication skills and capacity for articulation.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skill to speak authoritatively on the technical aspects of data architecture, data management, analytics tools and processes and data science
  • Engineers with a business background or a business degree are preferred
