Branch Operations Manager

Southern States Toyotalift

This is a Contract position in Columbus, GA posted September 14, 2020.

Position Purpose Contribute to making Southern States TOYOTAlift a leader in the material handling industry by building business, managing and growing forklift equipment sales and service, promoting effective marketing plans, identifying business opportunities, selling products, maintaining relationships with clients, identifying product improvements or new products, preparing reports, maintaining quality service, maintaining professional and technical knowledge, and contributing to team effort.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Develop and maintain relationships with service and parts prospects.

Required weekly activities are (reported and annotated in CRM): 25 current and potential customer visits/week 40 phone contacts/week Service Sell all levels of service; PM Agreements and EC/TC contracts Deliver and sell estimates for customer review and approval (60 hours of labor per week) Gain 4 new accounts per month Parts Sell Operator/Technical Training – 4 per month Forward new and used leads to the Sales Department Maintain CRM and weekly itinerary and report card Other special projects as deemed necessary for the growth and profitability of the company.

Growing sales of non-Toyota products and service Identifying business opportunities at customer locations and making suggestions to customer about SST’s products and services Assisting in the delivery of forklifts and other products to customer locations Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers Advocating company values, mission, vision, and code of conduct Practicing common sense safety always Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Qualifications Must possesses excellent oral presentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Commitment to excellent customer service SAP knowledge a plus Superior attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multi-task Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Must be willing to travel in the Florida and Georgia market, depending on assigned territory Knowledge of material handling equipment a plus Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree Proven track record in growing sales volume Ability to think ahead and create presentations that motivate customers Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills Excellent knowledge of industrial powered equipment and the material handling industry
