Our Opportunity

The Sales Representatives are responsible for fielding all inbound customer calls and chats during the live shows.

This is an interactive and energetic environment with show hosts, vendors, production teams and sales teammates all working to close sales and meet targets.

There is no cold calling as customers call contact Gem with an expressed interest in a product
– warm leads!

We are looking for motivated and well-spoken Sales Representatives to project a professional and pleasant image as the face of the company.

To be successful as a Sales Representative you should be able to build instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.

A top representative should also be very competitive and a good listener with the ability to close sales.

Key Responsibilities
Accomplish and exceed sales goals set by the Sales Manager.

Responsible for maintaining a list of items shown during live show at all times.

Learn how to listen for common objections and utilize sales training to overcome and close the sale.

Keep up with product information and updates while working to answer all customer questions.

Demonstrate interpersonal and teamwork skills interacting with operations, production, and vendors to meet sales goals.

Answer inbound customer calls and process customer requestsexplaining features of products and upselling or adding items to the sale.

Identify, research, and resolve client requests using the GEMTrak systems.

Adhere to all Gem Shopping Network policies and procedures Provide clients with merchandise details utilizing knowledge learned at Boot Camp.

Maintain knowledge of all products including gemstones and gold utilizing the Sales Training Tools.

Practice strong listening and communication skills knowing when to talk, listen and persuade.

Reassure client of purchase made by educating on the value resulting in gaining trust and strengthening relationships.

Key Requirements

High school education required, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related business field preferred.

2+ years prior sales experience.

Proven track record of increased sales at former employment.

Excellent negotiation and persuasive skills for the purposes of closing deals.

Pleasant phone voice and demeanor.

Self-starter with strong motivation to achieve targets, commission driven.

Strong communication skills with Customers, Show Managers and Show Hosts ensuring that correct items are shown, details are shared, and pricing is communicated.

Resilience and a willingness to deal with rejection.

Remain calm and controlled under pressure focusing on devising sales strategies.

Ability to multi-task assigned job functions in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

GIA certified and DCA certified a plus.

Jewelry sales experience or knowledge a plus.

Adhere to all Showroom attendance policies and report to the Showroom at least five minutes before assigned shift.
