Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Associate Direct, Product Management will have the primary responsibility of leading the Dry Wiping Product Management team to develop and execute business plans that align to the Annual and Strategic Business plans and deliver profitable growth in North America.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver Net Sales and Profit Objectives as outlined in the Annual Business Plan.

Lead the commercial management of product categories in KCP NA to meet agreed business objectives and deliver annual growth, market share, profit and BFS objectives (KPI’s).  Manage the innovation pipeline, product portfolio mix and SKU management for the business.

Lead innovation and renovation commercialization activities for new products and commercial innovation including overall management of packaging and supply chain activities.

Develop business strategies with Product Managers ensuring a cross functional and global lens is applied where appropriate.

Lead, inspire and develop a high performing team by the effective management of team member’s performance.

Implement training & development plans to maximize team potential and contribution to the business.

Regular review and definition of skills needed within team to meet current and future business needs.

Recruit top talent, manage marketing career ladder and succession plans.

Ensure KCP maintains competitive advantage in key categories by keeping up to date with relevant new category developments in target markets, tracking the activities of key competitors and developing responses to them.

Identify supply needs, pricing guidelines, cost structure / drivers, capital expenditures, alternate routes to market, sustainability, and margin improvement opportunities.

Define and manage pricing strategy for each product line and provide guide price direction for the sales teams.

Develop strategies, plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive KCP business performance improvement, and adjust at appropriate time intervals.

Synthesize, interpret, and apply information/data to develop insights providing new perspective on products, categories, competitors, markets, and/or K-C pricing/performance.

Development of process improvements to the Product Management role to enable increased business management and analytics, using Continuous Improvement processes to reduce overall time allocation.

Work closely with the Customer Experience/Marketing/Sales teams to ensure alignment on category management priorities in order to support their target brand, segment, and channel business plans.

Work closely with NA and global digital marketing team to ensure alignment on demand generation, digital asset management and digital sales/marketing commercialization.  Liaise and co-ordinate regional category activities and programs with the Global Wiping, Specialty Wiping, Health & Wellness and Home Professional teams to ensure we have an integrated approach which maximizes the combined efforts of the sales effort.

Development of strategic plans and milestones and tactics to support and deliver short and long-term financial commitments most effectively.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA preferred.

At least 12 years of experience in marketing, sales, operations, or finance, with the ideal candidate having experience in several of these disciplines.

Proven track record of success required.

Candidate to live in close proximity to Roswell or Atlanta area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Notable track record in a team leader role with evidence of growing and promoting top talent.

Credibility and proven success in delivering with Sales teams and/or with key distributor partners.

Strong strategic and financial business acumen.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Agile/Scrum methodology.

Proven business management skills.
