To support the needs of our community, Modern Pest is searching for a Director of Project Management to lead a team focused on change management activities in support of various projects as delegated by our parent company, Anticimex..

The Director of Project Management will provide wide-ranging business support and expertise throughout the full M&A process, including the strategic coordination of internal and external resources from the initial fact-finding and planning phases, through due diligence activities, and into post-acquisition integration and transition monitoring.

The Director will be tasked with tracking overarching financial goals and objectives of multiple, concurrent M&A opportunities by coordinating stakeholder and leadership meetings to identify risks, synergies and other critical aspects which may impact the outcome of each acquisition goal..

The Director is also responsible for directing resources to ensure that M&A related projects are completed within an appropriate time frame, within scope and within budget.

The Director will support strategic initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle from the planning phase through post-implementation reviews.

The project workload may consist of broad, platform-wide activity to more narrowly focused, departmental initiatives..

This is a hands-on role focused on effectively driving projects forward and enforcing a high-quality change control process for Modern Pest.

As a Director of Project Management, you will:.

Actively participate and contribute to due diligence and integration of acquisitions, including process and expense review and reduction, as well as providing support with changes in operations and marketing strategies..

Work with Senior leaders across the organization to plan and coordinate efforts for new or modified strategic initiatives and effective change management..

Create, implement, and manage actionable deliverables for change management levers: communications plan, change network to support project implementation, stakeholder management, engagement, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan, reinforcement/sustainment plan..

Facilitate the completion of approved project scope, goals, deliverables and define and measure change success metrics..

Delegate projects across team while maintaining and delivering Modern’s Change Management standard methodology, tools, and templates to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by policy and procedures.

Integrate change management activities into overall project plan..

Partner with department leaders at Modern to project out deliverables and milestones for current and future partnerships..

Monitor and report to executive management on all related projects, statuses, risks, and change requests on a regular basis..

Manage project scope changes, deliverables, and resolution of issues to achieve project goals on time and on budget..

Coordinate and motivate project team members..

Support training efforts, while building business knowledge across the organization to create an effective and knowledgeable team..

Facilitate and act as project lead on demand across organization..

Manage cross-functional project teams, with a key focus on coordinating transaction related due diligence and integration activities..

Effectively plan and facilitate meetings to reach conclusions/consensus..

Identify and track risks, actions, issues, decisions, dependencies, and synergies to ensure successful diligence and integration..

Develop or enhance playbooks for future M&A activities.

Build key success metrics to evaluate the impact of various projects, improvements, and services..

Lead and monitor a wide range of high visibility projects and solve problems to keep projects moving forward and on track..

Collaborate with a team of high performers to complete both ad hoc projects and recurring market and competitive research tasks..

Work with senior executives and the business units to identify and define M&A initiatives that support the deal thesis of the acquisition/divestiture..

Create presentations to effectively communicate the status and results of the team’s due diligence and integration activities to both project teams and senior executives..

Provide guidance, mentoring, training, and support to other team members..

Perform other duties as assigned by the President..

Travel and visit prospective and current branch locations as needed..

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:.

10+ years’ experience in project management preferred.

Qualification in project management or equivalent.

Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.

Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management.

Proactive critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Self-starter with ability to work independently and learn new technologies quickly.

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with leading teams, negotiation, and issue management.

Proven adaptability and stress tolerance.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
