Who you are: 
Required: Strong technical background in systems and network security with working understanding of security, privacy and compliance domains  Required: 4
– 6 years of information security experience (enterprise level preferred) and 2
– 4 years of supervisory experience.  Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related Information Technology education relevant to this position is preferred.  Certification: CISM/CISSP preferred  Exceptional written and oral communication skills  Exceptional interpersonal skills  Strong documentation skills  Exceptional customer service orientation  
What you’ll do:

This management role will perform all functions necessary to ensure the safety and soundness of information systems and assets of LGECCU by overseeing information security staff daily activities and; information technology compliance to law, regulation and industry security guidelines.

To ensure the material soundness of the financials and protection of member’s confidential information.

Essential Functions:
Develop a multi-gen roadmap for Information Security practices at LGE  Manage enterprise level information security initiatives, regulations and compliance strategies  Oversee information security audits performed by organization or third-party personnel  Manage security team staff personnel (employee, contractors).

Recruits and hires new team members.  Oversee information security awareness training to organization personnel  Ensure incident response management and security response readiness for personal and enterprise level data breach scenarios  Manage budget and costs associated with deploying security tools and services  Assess the current architecture for intrusion detection/prevention, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, upgrades or improvement  Implement and oversee technological upgrades, improvements and major changes to the information security environment including IAM efforts  Serve as point of contact for the information security team and the customer or organization  Oversee security of disaster recovery and data backup systems  Act as the security liaison to review security architecture during project evaluation and third-party risk assessments  Communicate information security goals and new programs effectively with other department managers and leadership team within the organization  Review, implement, update and document companywide information security policies and procedures  Manage security audits and vulnerability and threat assessments, and directing responses to network or system intrusions  Ensuring fulfillment of legal and contractual information security and privacy mandates, including providing executive management with compliance reports and audit finding resolutions Analyze reports generated by the monitoring systems to identify areas of threat that indicate a reasonably foreseeable risk  Monitor security related incidents, events and changes to laws and regulations in the industry and design strategies to ensure safety and compliance of information assets
