nn nn JOB SUMMARY: nn nnDirects the activities of Manufacturing Engineering in an efficient manner for the desired quality and quantity of work.

Assure that product designs, specifications, facilities and labor are maximized to improve the manufacturability at the lowest cost for all products.nn nn ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: n
•Supervise the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering groupn
•Direct the Manufacturing engineering group in optimizing production support, cost reduction, line presentation of material, lean manufacturing improvements, process development and corrective action supportn
•Assure that resources are available to provide necessary tooling, routers, labor standards, raw material structure, make vs.

buy analysis, process instructions, and technical support for the timely implementation of engineering changesn
•Establish accountability and goals for the Manufacturing Engineering group to be used in annual performance appraisalsn
•Hold employees and support functions accountable for achieving objectivesn
•Utilize fiscal responsibility in manufacturing process, equipment/tooling procurement, and traveln
•Will be working within an ISO 9000 quality system and produce documentation acceptable to the customernn nn KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: n

•Bachelor Degree in Engineering field required; Masters level preferredn

•Past experience in Production Supervision is a plusn
