nnAt Vatica Health, we rely on powerfully insightful data to inform our innovative systems and healthcare solutions and we are seeking an experienced Sr.

Director of Data & Analytics Engineering to put this to use.

We are looking for a hands-on, servant leader who has completed multiple data and analytics transformations in a highly secure and regulated industries.

As the leader, you will need to collaborate with executives, business leaders, and engineering leaders to collect feedback, drive transformation, research modern tools and engage in the adoption of the capability across the enterprise.

Experience in leveraging outside sources to determine which tools to assess and provide recommendations for modern technologies is highly desirable.

Driving & planning the retirement of older/legacy technologies in alignment with our engineering, cybersecurity and DevOps team is expected as we shift to modern tools.nn nnThe Sr.

Director of Data & Analytics Development Platforms will be responsible for helping drive the platform strategy as well as ensure the platform/tools are confirming to our compliance requirements and operational SLAs.

Periodic audits, health checks, capacity and performance assessments and operational metrics of these platforms will be key measures for success.

Must have the ability to work in modern technologies and create bridges to our legacy environments as needed.

Your experience in software data development, DevOps, SaaS, Cloud Platforms and Agile practice will help you be successful in the position.

nn nnIn the position you will lead a team of 20-30 resources while working closely with cross-functional organization stakeholders such as business, software engineering, cybersecurity, information technology and product management.

nn nnBeyond technical prowess, the Sr.

Director of Data & Analytics Engineering will need the soft skills it takes direct collaborative teams and communicate highly complex data trends to organizational leaders in a way that is easy to understand.

nn nnRequirementsnn nnDirect all data engineering initiatives as the owner of data engineeringnn nnDirect the establishment of necessary infrastructure to allow responsive, scalable data and database performance as the company grows nn nnDirect the establishment of monitoring processes to visualize and alert on known and unknown performance issues nn nnDevelop a sustainable data SDLC to ensure speed and stability of the data platform.nn nnInstitute learning models so that data staff understands the full implications of choices and development processes and how they inter-relate to business decisions and customers.nn nnBuild and maintain living data models to improve decision making.nn nnAct as a transformational agent to ensure new and existing staff become an effective part of the overall organization and therefore assists in moving the organization toward the desired business and developmental goalsnn nnBe a cross-disciplinary thought leader in the area of data engineering, directing new and improved data-related decisioning as it relates to the Health Care industry, future data capabilities of the organization, application development processes, infrastructure planning, and organizational structure nn nnParticipate as a key decision maker with leaders from IT to collaborate on establishment of best practices with regard to capacity, speed, safety, and security of data.nn nnDrive all data engineering projects to solve business problems, building and maintaining the infrastructure to answer questions and improve processesnn nnStreamline our data science workflows, adding value to our product offering and building out our customer lifecycle and retention modelsnn nnLead data science and business intelligence teams to develop and own data models and pipelines for research, reporting, and machine learningnn nnDaily and Monthly Responsibilities:nn nnDirect our data science to build complex algorithms that provide unique insights into our datann nnBuild and maintain a team of data professionals who will manage the day-to-day operations of a healthy, growing organization.nn nnLeverage agile software development processes to continuously make improvements to our back-end systemsnn nnModel front-end and back-end data sources to draw a more comprehensive picture of user flows throughout our system and enable powerful data analysisnn nnBuild and own data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sourcesnn nnDevelop models that can be used to make predictions and answer questions for the overall businessnn nnRequired Skills and Qualifications:nn nnBachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or equivalentnn nn15 years in Direct or Sr.

Director leadership positionnn nn15 or more years leading transformational data initiativesnn nn20 or more years of experience with master data management, data factory, SQL, cloud and data visualization/exploration toolsnn nn15 years of managing mission critical systems nn nnCommunication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical business leadersnn nnComfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented team with concurrent projectsnn nnBenefitsnn nnExperience building or maintaining ETL processesnn nnExperience as a data architect in a high transactional volume organization.nn nnProfessional certificationsnn
