Lucid is seeking a dynamic and high performing Sr.

Manager of Revenue to join our accounting team.

Our team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across Lucid.

We also partner, cross-functionally, to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Company’s revenue accounting by providing leadership, accounting expertise, business sense, and a strong desire to improve processes and controls.

We have optimized many of our accounting processes and systems but we still have a lot of work to do, especially after opening offices in The Netherlands and Australia and launching our new product, Lucidspark.

What You’ll Own Manage the revenue recognition process from the contract negotiation to financial statement disclosure Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to automate revenue accounting processes including reconciliation of data, reporting, and analysis Manage revenue allocation for contracts with multiple performance obligations Work closely with IT development team to maintain the NetSuite revenue modules, including the implementation Netsuite’s Advanced Revenue Management Module (ARM) Assist in monthly revenue, deferred revenue and analytics that are useful for management review of actual results against expectations Perform a quarterly stand-alone selling price (SSP) analysis Provide technical guidance, training, and support to the Accounting/Finance, Legal, Sales and Operations teams Ensure compliance with GAAP standards, SOX controls and documentation, including understanding of ASC 606 Support Technical Accounting Team on revenue-related reporting matters including Form 10Q and Form 10K disclosures Support external audit processes Become subject matter expert of Netsuite, Salesforce and Recurly Stabilization and ongoing improvement to Netsuite and Recurly Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed Who You Are Out-of-the box thinker Passionate about excellence, exceeding expectations and teamwork Optimistic outlook Strong problem-solving and time management skills Superb written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey meaningful information, clearly and concisely with all levels of management Excellent work ethic Thrives in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment Bias towards finding solutions vs.

shutting down ideas Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting CPA license 7 years of SaaS experience with a mix of both industry and public accounting experience Of the 7 years above, 4 years must be revenue recognition experience Subject-matter-expert level experience in applying software revenue accounting guidance (ASC 606) Advanced knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles with ability to deal with complex transactions Comfortable managing and reviewing high volume of transactions at scale Ability to drive process improvement and act as an agent for change Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with zeal for taking ownership Strategic thinker who operates with extreme attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently, with little direction Preferred Master’s degree in Accounting Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce
