This position will not have a set schedule – it will vary and will be determined with the Administrator. Some of the job duties include:Medication administration for a 20-bed personal care homeConsult with physicians, nurses, and pharmacists daily regarding new diagnoses, medications, etc.Manages and oversees care plans to ensure residents receive quality of careWork with Administrator to hire and train staff Work with Administrator to meet quality assurance standards outlined by DCH, HFRD, EDWPRotate on-call with staff and AdministratorCompletes nursing assessmentsQualifications include:Current Georgia LPN licenseCurrent CPR/BLS certificationThree (3) or more years nursing experience, preferably in personal care home industryKnowledge of Medicaid waiver programs a plusAbility to interact and communicate successfully with a diverse population, both verbally and in writingAbility to successfully complete multiple tasks in an efficient mannerAcceptable criminal background check and motor vehicle recordHealth Physical and TB screeningEmployees must comply with state background screening requirements.
